Now, it has been quite a long time since MoneyTree first started in June last year if I’m not mistaken and we have conducted numerous occasional courses that teaches kids on both financial education and entrepreneurship.

Now all of us know, be it those inside and outside MoneyTree, that the world today is turning real real bad especially today’s high flying inflation. Rumors say that a war may arise due to very very low shortage of food, due to it being channeled largely to the production of bio-fuels that is thought to be saving the world.

For your info, the production of biofuels has let to the more rapid deforestation of our beloved Amazon forest. Production of biofuels has been researched, and other than sugarcane, the rest of the crops being made to biofuel will produce more carbon dioxide than save carbon dioxide through the process of the production. Unbelievable? Believe it…. It’s a fact…

Now, that said, we simply do not have the time to ponder if we can still live in a world where we do not take into consideration on how to tackle this RIDICULOUS issue. Now, one would be to commit suicide. But I suggest we would not do that as that is just going to end everything…And why would someone do that when they could attend MoneyTree and take some time off to study some basic laws on how money actually works…

Ive nothing more to say but seriously people, do we still want to allow that brick wall to prevent us from looking at the real truth or just let it block our way…

The more desire you have to improve some part of yourself, the more successful you’ll become.

After every basketball game, a high school basketball coach watches the videotape and analyzes what the team did so he can reinforce the things the team did well and suggest ways to improve the things they didn’t do well.

Just as the coach reviews the team’s performance after every game so he can suggest ways to keep them in the win column, you should review your performance at work and develop a winning game plan. Actually, you can use the same strategy as the high school basketball coach. Here’s the coach’s winning formula:

Goals: First and foremost, you have to know what you’re shooting for. In the team’s case, it’s to win. What are your goals at work? To be the best in your area or department? To get a promotion? To reduce the number of errors in your department? To increase productivity?

Skills: Once you have a goal, you must have the skills to be able to reach your goal. If you don’t have them, you have to acquire them. If you want to be a computer programmer, for instance, then you must learn the language. Whatever you decide you want to do, you must learn and develop the skills necessary to put in a top performance every day.

Execution: Now, just having the skills doesn’t mean you can use them well. You must be able to perform them to perfection. That means practice, practice, practice.

Support: We all need to work together to reach our goals. No one member of the basketball team can win the game alone. Players need one another and rely on one another to get the job done. The same applies at work (and at home and school too).

Leadership The team has a captain or cocaptains — leaders — to ensure the team executes the coach’s game plan. Companies need leaders who direct their efforts toward profitable endeavors.

Desire: Last, but by far not least, you must have the burning desire to reach your goal — whatever that goal may be. You can possess the sharpest skills, execute them perfectly, and have the most support and the best leadership — but if you don’t care, chances are good you’ll still fall short. You must WANT it. And that’s what it takes to win. You can have anything you want if you want it desperately enough.

Anyone remember Mark? Yep, he’s the one in all our MoneyTree courses that do not fail to amuse Mike with his brilliant answers. Guess what, he needs our help in his Geography project. I have an email from him that says:

Can you help me think of a business proposal to a farmer who is trying to be productive with a plot of land he owns in singapore..like maybe how to invest the land or change it into something more innovative. But he would like to explore the planting of organic food and get as much as possible yield from the land. To supplement his income, he would also like to run educational tours for tourist or students. Can you help me think of a business proposal for this situation? Its for my Geography project. Thanks ^^

That said, of course we can help you think of a business proposal for this situation. Not the whole thing, but just a brief idea on the different ways to get this off and started. Yep, schools nowadays can be quite demanding and all of us here at MoneyTree Ambassadar Club will do whatever we can to get yourself up and going. Give us some time, maybe 1 day or so to give you some ideas to help this helpless farmer alright… No worries ya?

Finally with much perseverance, we get to adapt to Wordpress in just a few days… Wow, thats how good we are here at MoneyTree. We got a diversity of talents that can be proven useful ANYTIME. Name anyone in our company and we’ll tell you that that guy have talents that is oh so useful. Jackson, good at graphics, Shafeeqah, good at html, Joseph, good at motivating peers and the list just goes on and on…

Back on track, we will be having our first online meeting for YESCOM to discuss about:

1) Tasks Assignment

2) Product

3) Timeline

That would be enough for 1 night. Remember guys, no idea is ridiculous. Whenever you hit an idea, share it! You’ll never know that will be a money-making one…
