20th december will be the next reunion that moneytree ambassadors will attend. We will definitely meet new people over there. As for me, I don’t really know the new guys. I didn’t even attend the Entrepreneur Course that I’m supposed to. I’m hoping all of them come on the 20th and not the usual people. I’m certain MoneyTree has been registering a lot of people under their courses and am sure that they wouldn’t mind joining this club or attending the 20th.

We will be playing Cashflow over there, a game that I’ve been wanting to play for a hell long time. Hopefully I’m not the banker again. It’s too hectic to be one. Next thing you know you’ve lost track of the amount of money going in and out.

The other thing I would like to do is assign a writer for this blog. Yes, I’ve been trying to get people to write and I would definitely leave the blog by New Year after handing the job over to another guy. I’m feeling a bit too old to be hanging around here too much haha. I need to move on. For goodness sake, one of you have to start writing. Why does it seem as though these young ones are a hell lot busier than I am.

Just received news that a team of 4 from MoneyTree Singapore won a couple of awards from the recently held events during the Global Entrepreneurship Week. It was a 1 week event stretching from the 17^th to the 23^rdof November.

Winning $600 dollars in just a week is a great achievement for these students. That’s the way! Show them the power of the youngsters. This will add to the already-long line of achievements MoneyTree Singapore has attained. While this may be a small milestone, don’t be complacent guys, you can achieve more and reach greater heights, knowing what you just did was just the stepping stone. I’m sure you guys have made tons of friends over there. Be open, add them online, chat, mingle, venture, whatever it is!

Frankly, it was a pity I did not go for the last day as I had a bit more important stuffs to deal with the whole day. Nevertheless, photos and videos will do for me. Speaking of videos, here is a video of the group during the prize presentation ceremony.

What are you guys doing really in your holidays? Do you sometimes feel that you got nothing to do and just wished that someone bump you in the head and ask you to do something fresh?
As much as we need to plan for our financial future, especially when the market doesn’t seem near to bottoming out, we also need to plan for our holidays! Ok before I jump into things, for those of you getting a job, don’t just get a job for the money, see what’s in it for you other than the monetary benefits. You know why? These jobs can add to your testimonials or resume or whatever you call it, and if you took up a leadership role, and somehow manage to pull it off, guess who’s in it for the win? YOU!!!

As for me, I’ve planned my timetable. One of it is to make at least 15 related contacts in these 5 months before I enrol into National Service. Another one is to also complete learning HTML to PHP. Let’s see, I have endless time to complete this. Time is on my side.

Anyway, I wanna try put some things I learnt form html to use. For those of you coming on 30th Nov, would you kindly fill in these boxes below?

Striking the days left in junior college has been the best thing I’ve done in my whole entire 30 years of life! (just kidding bout’ the 30 years). It seemed as though the exams would last ages, but just like saving money, doing the exams slowly paper by paper has left me with this situation, 2 more mcq papers!!! MCQ!!!

I heard the movie marathon is going to be held on the 30th of November eh? Finally meeting some old friends after kazillion months. Wonder how Bugis looks like now. Revamped, less crowded, peaceful… NOT! Talking about movies, I’ve recently watched The Truman Show. One of the best movies so far. Just for the sake of money, the privacy and the reality of one man’s life has been chunked down the drain. Only God knows how he realised it was all a set up and managed to get out of that huge studio turned Earth. Imagine yourself being brought up from a baby in a well oriented studio with a ready made script for ‘your friends’ around you to follow. To top it off, you’re monitored by more than kabillion zillion cameras.

Makes you wonder about your own life eh?

While I leave you guys to ponder bout’ that, this may be random but I remember a bit of what President Obama replied to an 11-year-old girl in a personal letter, goes something like this, “Look out for other people, even when it does not directly benefit you; strive to make a difference everywhere you go; and get back up every time you are knocked down.” - I just love this quote.

To my long awaited A Level Examinations. It will be a 3 week blockbusting event that will guarantee the lives of my pens and calculators. Tomorrow’s paper is GP coupled with Geograpghy. So much for evenly spread out papers. That is two papers that involve essays, essays and let me think, more essays. Nevertheless, I’m sure I’ve read enough and practised enough to sit for it. After all, I’m supported by my peers and some pals back over here. I would really love to sit in the exam, knowing I’ve done my best, and there’s no other way I could haev done better than that. Only time will tell

• Pondering over my past, in MoneyTree, in college and at home, I realised I’ve not been fair to anyone around me, including myself. Somehow, I think I broke some of the fundamentals I learnt from school and MoneyTree. Rewards don’t come knocking on your door. Go and find it if you want and by all means make sure you get it. Being negative is never supposed to be on the list in your pursuit. If bad things comes rolling and hits you hard at the back of your head, it’s just a sign that somehow, somewhere, you are not doing something right. That’s what I’ve experienced in just a couple of weeks back which I totally regretted.

Nevertheless, it’s done. Looking forward to better things to come from myself and MoneyTree, if they’re okay with that. Haha, again, time will tell :D… Signing off…
